Description

Nestled along the Red Deer River in Alberta near Brooks (not Drumheller) is a World Heritage Site, Dinosaur Provincial Park. It is the best location got Upper Cretaceous Dinosaur (75 million years) fossils in the world. I had the privelige of working there as a Park Ranger in 1979. It is one location that is unequalled in anywhere else I have been in the world. Since then I have been back many times and led hikes through the badlands showing what this amazing place has to offer. Most of the Park is a Natural Preserve and is closed to the public except guided hikes with Park Interpreters. One of my all time favorite places to take photos.
